“ I arrived exhausted from the heat and humidity, but a delicious cup of coffee refreshed me. There were a few people sitting around relaxing, making for a comfortable atmosphere. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and apparently a second cup of coffee (selected items only) is half price, so I'll come back when I have time. Next time, I'd like to try the pancakes, too. I've been coming here a few times since. The cakes are retro and sturdy, so if you're looking for something more flashy, they might be a bit lacking. It seems like it might be a matter of personal preference. The great thing about the pancakes is that you can order just one. They're fluffy, but they don't melt in an odd way, and the sweetness and umami of the ingredients really come through, which is a big plus. The pizza toast is also great, with fluffy, chewy bread toasted to a crisp and topped with plenty of toppings. The perfectly runny scrambled eggs were a nice touch. It was delicious. ”

(^^) It was my first time trying pizza toast, but it was topped with the egg filling from the egg sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious! “ The interior is very spacious. It's a cafe where you can open your laptop and linger for a while. I stopped in for a break to have dessert, and the cake was delicious. It's spacious and the tables are far apart. It's not noisy, so I think it's a great space. ”

“ It's a reliable Coffee House. There's plenty of seating. It's located one block away from Shibuya Station, so it's not too crowded and it's easy to find a seat. I imagine most of the customers are people who work at Cross Tower. It's not as cheap as Doutor, but it's cheaper than Starbucks. Coffee House has a great selection of food. The staff are very friendly and the seats aren't too cramped, so I often go there. ”

“ [September 2024] It was hot outside, so I decided to drop in for a bit. It was a bit of an adventure to find this place after seeing the sign, or rather the store guide, on the outside of the building. The building is old, with strange steps and confusing corridors all around, making it difficult to get close. When I arrived, the interior was quite nice, and the atmosphere was very quiet, in contrast to the usual packed Starbucks nearby. I ordered a brown sugar iced cafe au lait that day, and the ice cream was floating, reminiscent of the old-fashioned coffee float. It wasn't the typical brown sugar sweetness, but had a refreshing and pleasant taste. This is the kind of atmosphere you want to relax in at a coffee shop. ”

“ Weekday, lunchtime. If you exit the Shibuya Hikarie building (2nd floor), which is connected to the central ticket gate of Shibuya Station via a deck, from the back exit, you can get there without having to climb any slopes. Go right, exit onto Route 246, and take the stairs under the footbridge. The entrance to the building connected to the footbridge is on the 3rd floor, so take the escalator down to the 1st floor. The building is nearly 50 years old and feels old, but the interior is spacious with plenty of table seating. The aisles are wide, and there's ample space between seats, so it's comfortable. It's lunchtime, so a steady stream of office workers streamed in. There are also two single-person smoking booths. There were no power outlets at the tables, but I think there are probably some at the counter seats, like at other Coffee Houses. I ordered pancakes and iced coffee. My order came out about 15 minutes later. The butter was hard and didn't melt easily, which is the same at every Coffee House, so it's within my control. It was cooked perfectly, and thick, so delicious even without cream. The cream wasn't too sweet, and it was delicious with it. There was a call bell, and Wi-Fi was available (although the speed was slow). All the staff were very nice. However, empty plates were quickly taken away... ”
